Patty is a real estate broker and co-owner of Northwest Realty. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Iowa Association of Realtors, and the United Counties Board of Realtors. Patty also belongs to the Cherokee Kiwanis and P.E.O, and is a member of the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. Karen PetersonKaren Peterson

Karen is a real estate broker who has worked in the real estate business for 20 years, and is co-owner of Northwest Realty. She was born and raised in Cherokee, continues to live in this community, is married, and has three children. Karen also is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Iowa Association of Realtors, and the United Counties Board of Realtors where she formerly served a Treasurer. She is also a member of the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. Currently, Karen is serving on the City of Cherokee Planning and Zoning Board and the Cherokee County Residential Services Board. Jack ForesmanJack Foresman

Jack is a past owner of Northwest Realty and a real estate broker. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Iowa Association of Realtors, the United Counties Board of Realtors, and the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. Jack served 18 years as a Cherokee County Supervisor, 10 years as a School Board Member and 10 years as a Member of the Board of Directors of an area bank. He is also a verteran of the Korean War. Jack and his family have been producing grain and livestock in Cherokee County for over 40 years.

Bob GrantBob Grant

Bob has more than 40 years as a Real Estate Broker. Bob is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Iowa Association of Realtors, the United Counties Board of Realtors, and the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. Bob has served as Past President of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee Kiwanis, and the State Finance Association. He has spent 20 years in the finance and insurance industries. Bob was the owner/operator of a roller skating business for 20 years, and served as Director of Therapeutic Recreation and Volunteer Departments of the Cherokee Mental Health Institute for 20 years. He is also a Marine Corps veteran.

Carl NelsonCarl Nelson

Carl has been a Real Estate Sales Associate since 1996 and is a member of the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. He has served as the Mayor Pro Tem of the Marcus, Iowa, City Council, is a Marcus Lions Club member, and is a Board Member of the Marcus Main Street Program. Carl is a Senior Vice President and Board Director of Valley Bank and Trust, Cherokee and Marcus, Iowa.

Valarie PattersonValarie Patterson

Vallarie was born in Texas and served in the Texas Army National Guard for several years. She is currently the secretary at Northwest Realty as well as a licensed Realtor. Valarie is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Association of Realtore, the United Counties Board of Realtors, and the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. She and her husband moved to Cherokee in 2005 to be closer to their family. They have one child and love "small town living" and its many advantages.

Olivia ShawOlivia Shaw

Olivia and her family moved to Cherokee in 2006. Her husband, James, accepted a position working in the swine industry. They have a daughter, Atlanta, and a son, Hunter. Olivia was born and raised in Kuntucky and served in the Kentucky Army National Guard. She is a member of the national Association of Realtors, the Iowa Realtors Association, and the United County Board of Realtors. Olivia and her family love being here in Cherokee and are proud to call this their home.

Andy CarlsonAndy Carlson

Andy is a Real Estate Agent with Northwest Realty and a member of the National Association of Realtors, Iowa Realtors Association, United Counties Board of Realtors, and the Cherokee Multiple Listing Service. He has served as Director of the Cherokee Area Economic Development Corporation and is a past president of the Cherokee County Pork Producers. Andy is a long time member of the Cherokee Ag Business Committee and a past superintendent of the Cherokee County 4-H and Open Swine Show. He has spent 30 years in sales of livestock nutrition to producers around Cherokee County and northwest Iowa. Andy is a Morningside College graduate with a B.S. degree in Ag Business. He and his wife, Patti, have lived in the Cherokee area almost all of their lives.
